G_N#2 Col de la Madeleine 2.000m

After a pretty relaxed day 1, relaxing time, a good dinner and a regeneration night i guess we all got a bit nervous about the first highlight of the tour on day 2 - Col de la Madeleine.

when I did 21, it was a very good Ride...

Just finished Mt Ventoux i travelled further towards italy just to do another stop and a nice famous ride for sunday. Staying in Bourg-d Oisans the next night the target was pretty clear - 21 switch backs up to Alpe d´Huez - The Mythos.

I want my MtV - Mt Ventoux

One week on the road visiting customers and a few more days in Italy to come. But before - weekend and time to do nice rides. The basic plan quite easy. One big hit on friday, saturday travel day and sunday another classic ride. The weather ment it different tough and so friday was working day waiting for saturday and time to do the holy mountain - Mt Ventoux.

You might say after a week of mountains and a ride from Geneve to Nice it´s enough; but on my list from the beginning stayed a qualifying round in Monaco - and so i did.

It was time to get the job done and to reach the sea in Nice. So out of bed, a last strenghtening breakfast and then lets go. The mountains became lower our legs more weak - so that went hand or better feet in feet.

That day unfortunately Gerhard had to leave us due to a family topic and so ten of us were left for the last 2 days. And if you think it was done - then Col de la Cayolle with its 2.326m told you its not.

It always comes different as plannend. That was stage 4 of our Tour crossing the Alps. Already the day before it kinda turned out that the next day after the big one with Col du Galibier, was to easy for us.
