Golden Nugget Ride - old Las Vegas
New year - new luck; that could have been the story around this ride together with our sales manager Brian in the surroundings of Las Vegas.
After one year of leading the B2B for US together with the team based in San Clemente in SoCal, we attended AIMExpo, a B2B motorcycle show in Las Vegas. After a gas consuming drive with the company truck pulling our promotion trailer and watching the Superbowl 2023 at the House of Blues in Mandaly bay Hotel, we had time for a ride.
So said we choosed a loop east of Las Vegas touching the Lake Las Vegas. Starting from our Hotel, the Paris, we took some streets providing a combined bus and bike lane leaving the city. Reaching Henderson City was also kind of the boarder to enter the dessert. Luckily already there we did not have a lot of traffic. This became even better when we entered the National Park connected to Lake Mead, built by the famous Hoover Dam.
The weather luckily was warm and sunny so we could ride short/short which would have been different the following days as we even had snow there. Our goal was to go around Frenchman Mountain and head back into the city entering a little more north. We were almost alone and could enjoy the ride including a faboulos landscape.
Saying fabulous brings us to the fun part of the ride hitting Old Las Vegas and Freemont Street with its famous Neon Cowboy Sign. The Freemont Casino, the Golden Nugget and the incredible Screen Installation with its awesome videos - all iconic attractions which we could include to our ride.
The last part was the maybe most tricky: riding back to our hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. But also this turned out to be an easy one and so we finished our tour befitting at the Arc de Triomphe. One last game with our bikes next to us to finanze our evening program...
