Kanfar Rollout Istria

Still in Porec, I had time for another ride with Betty. This time, I decided to explore the region further southeast, targeting Kanfanar and Zminj.

I took quieter roads, passing through Sveti Lovrec and heading towards Barat. The route was gently uphill until I reached a nice descent with a scenic view. Along the way, I passed the ruins of the ancient city of Dvigrad. After a few switchbacks, I reached Kanfanar and continued directly to Zminj.
From there, I descended to Tinjan before tackling the last small climb to Jakovici. The final stretch was mostly downhill, offering a 20 km descent back to Porec, where I enjoyed a refreshing swim in the sea to end the ride.
