earlyBird SupetarLoop

If you don't have time to explore the whole island, just ride a part of it and return for breakfast. That's exactly what I did before renting a boat for some days on the water.

Starting at 5:30 AM, I had time for a quick 2-hour ride passing through Supetar, the town where we arrived by ferry. From Milna, which is right by the water, the ride began with a short climb. Not too steep or long, but enough with an average gradient of 5-6% to wake up the legs.
The profile from there stretched over 20km, bumpy and undulating, until reaching Supetar. The sunrise over the coast was stunning as usual. After Supetar, I faced a climb of 400 meters to the village of Skrip, with a few steeper sections (12-15% gradients) and an average of 9% by the end.
From there, it was all about enjoying the descent to Nerezisca, then continuing to Lozisca, where I had to tackle a final short climb back to Milna. I took a slightly different route on the way home, which brought me to the bay just across from the hotel. After a quick coffee, I returned to the hotel for breakfast before setting off for the boat ride.
